Who is eligible for our services?

You can apply for services if you are a victim of a DUI crash, robbery, rape, domestic violence, homicide and other serious crimes committed in Michigan. Feel free to email or send a letter to Determined Friends, Inc. if you have any questions pertaining to eligibility.

How do I apply for services?

An application can be found on our website, complete and mail the application to Determined Friends, Inc.

Do we have to pay back any compensation granted?

No. All expenses that are granted to our new friends are covered by Determined Friends, Inc.

How many times can I apply for Determined Friends, Inc. victim services?

One household per 12 month period can apply for compensation.

What does Determined Friends, Inc. pay for?

We will provide a way to ease the financial losses to innocent people.

What are your sources of funding?

Determined Friends, Inc. finances its work through individual contributions, corporate donations, grants, planned gifts and services that are provided to individuals.

Is my financial contribution tax deductible?

Yes, Determined Friends, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) tax- exempt organization. As such financial contributions may be deductible for federal income tax purposes. Please consult with your financial advisor to determine the extent of tZax deductibility.

Determined Friends, Inc. memberships?

If you sign up for our annual membership $360.00 you can enjoy having a peace of mind.

Benefits for members you can call and request a designated driver or hospital visit to a loved one five 5 times throughout that calendar year. All you have to do is give us a call and let us know what time you will need us to pick you or your client up and we will drive their vehicles home as well. We need at least a 2 hour notice. Customers are happy to know that your establishment cares about their safety and community involvement.

How much is the Designated Driver Service?

Designated Driving Services are $50 for the first 10 miles and $2 for every additional mile and is subject to change without notice. Call for promotions and first time customer prices.

Can anyone seek services from Determined Friends, Inc.?

Yes, with the proper consent forms filled out and returned to Determined Friends, Inc.
