Giving To Determined Friends, Inc. As you may gather, community partnership is something which I am truly passionate about. I have been an integral part of different communities all across Michigan for over 17 years. I took my own personal adversity and made it my mission to be a positive tool to make a difference in our world. I am proud that I created Determined Friends, Inc. with the help of like mined people. We became an established not –for-profit organization in June 2008, with the mission to eliminate drunk driving and people who victims of this crime. I have been told by many that Determined Friends, Inc. developed their analytical abilities, self confidence, will power, goal setting competencies, and instilled in them the vision that enabled them to become self-motivating agents of social change, serving the best interests of the community. Some have offered that Determined Friends, Inc. transformed and even resurrected their lives. This is what captures our imagination and inspires our devotion and commitment. We provide a healing model to aid them in their time of need, while increasing the capacity for self-empowerment and self-help, with a goal of facilitating social action community wide. This is the character of Determined Friends, Inc. that we cherish and wish to preserve. We want to continue to make the necessary investments to provide the highest quality of emotional and financial support to our fellow Michigan friends. This requires attracting the best personnel in their fields who are also practitioners to support the applied aspect of our mission. This vision and mission requires support from those upon whom Determined Friends, Inc. future and the development of our community rest. It is essential that together we work to preserve the character, strength, and integrity of Michigan’s newest and unique, public charity. Everything we do is focused on helping families cope with an unfortunate crisis as well as prevention methods to prevent drunk driving crimes. We hope you’ll be moved to get involved.
